About Vinman
This band was initially named HeartWind Music, founded in 1996 by the first female lead vocalist, Manman. It started as a music interest group under XTC (Extreme Training Center) and is now independently operated and entrusted to a trust fund by the XTC Group. It aims to provide a group for people who love music to learn and train musical talents.
The band was formed to commemorate someone unforgettable to the founding members. The name HeartWind derives from the band’s mission: to spread the message carried by music farther and farther like the wind.
Later, several core members joined, such as Vinas (2001), Vincent (2002), Winnie (2002), and Foris (2004). On June 30, 2001, it was renamed Vinman Music Group, with Vinas and Manman as the lead singers, mainly performing trance-style electronic music covers.
By late 2016, Winnie Tang took over the female lead.
Today, there are about 50 active members, with various sub-bands, including the male group V-MIX, the energetic music group EuroTeam, etc. They hold concerts of various types and scales every year.
In 2015, Sammie, Jannie, and Janice formed a new band, Girlz INNOVATION. In 2019, they officially released albums under the name “GIRLz” with new members like Winnie, Veronica, Tracy, etc.
They established a professional recording studio and music training center in Taipei and support groups in Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia, etc. In early 2018, they moved to a large personal recording studio, Venus Studio Co., Ltd., in Tokyo, Japan.
In 2019, they held an audition for new talent across Japan, and Manman’s apprentice Veronica became the new force of the band after winning. Her versatile vocals earned them many hits on local underground music cover charts.
That summer, Veronica took over as the new female lead in September due to the official debut of female lead Winnie Tang as a singer under a music company.
