Merchant Portal 2.0 - Web UI/UX Design
I was responsible for designing the Merchant Portal, which serves as a centralized platform for merchants to manage their online sales, inventory, and customer interactions. The Merchant Portal plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth transactions and enhancing the overall user experience for both merchants and customers.
My responsibilities in redesigning the Merchant Portal included:
User interface (UI) design: I created intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the Merchant Portal, ensuring merchants could easily navigate the various features and functionalities. The UI design focused on different devices’ simplicity, consistency, and responsiveness.
Information architecture: I organized the content and features of the Merchant Portal in a logical and user-friendly manner, making it easy for merchants to find the tools and information they need to manage their online business effectively.
Dashboard design: I designed a comprehensive dashboard that gave merchants an overview of their sales performance, inventory levels, and customer interactions. The dashboard included vital metrics, charts, and graphs that helped merchants make data-driven decisions.
Product management: I designed interfaces for merchants to easily add, edit, and manage their product listings, including features such as product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory tracking.
Order management: I created a streamlined order management system that allowed merchants to view, process, and fulfil customer orders efficiently. The system included order tracking, invoicing, and shipping label generation.
- Analytics and reporting: I incorporated analytics and reporting features into the Merchant Portal, allowing merchants to track their sales performance, customer behaviour, and other vital metrics.
